Not because the feeling is missing.
Because finding the words can be hard. Because life moves quickly. Because we assume they already know. Because we think there will always be another chance.
Sometimes there is.
Sometimes there isn't.
Preserve gives you a simple way to take what you already carry and give it back to the person it belongs to.

It doesn't have to tell their whole story.

A Note From the Founder
Before Preserve was a company, I made one for someone I loved.
I gathered the things I remembered: photographs, ordinary moments, inside jokes, the places we went, the things she said, and the ways knowing her had changed me.
I put into words things I had felt for a long time but had never quite known how to say.
And then I never gave it to her.
That stayed with me.
Not because the memories disappeared. They didn't. I still had the photographs, the messages, the stories.
What stayed with me was realizing how much we can feel for another person without ever putting those feelings somewhere they can actually receive them.
And I realized this wasn't really about one person, or one relationship. It's something we all do.
We spend our lives loving people quietly, carrying the memories, the stories, the inside jokes, all the small things that explain why someone matters. And we rarely put those things together and give them back.
We assume they know. Maybe they do. But knowing you're loved isn't the same as hearing why.
That's what Preserve is for. It doesn't have to be elaborate. It doesn't have to be perfect. It just has to be true.
Love is felt in moments.
Moments disappear.
People often leave things unsaid.
Preserve gives that love somewhere to live.

What we believe
- Say it while you can. The best time to tell someone what they mean to you is while they are here to feel it.
- Meaning over volume. You don't need someone's whole life story. A few real moments can say everything that matters.
- Your words matter. Preserve can help you remember, organize, and go deeper. It should never invent your feelings or write your heart for you.
- One person is enough. A Preserve made by one person is complete. If others have something worth adding, you can invite them too.
- The person matters more than the archive. Photos, video, voice, and memories are not the point. What they reveal about how someone has mattered to you is.
